Casino Jack aka Bagman gains a trailer

KevinSpacey.jpgCasino Jack, also known as Bagman, stars Kevin Spacey as Jack Abramoff, a lobbyist who is the best there is, influencing and controlling those in power all the way to the top, and when he doesn't get what he wants he calls in some favours at the highest levels and they'll make sure that you'll comply.

However this latest deal isn't going the way they planned and pretty soon it's falling apart, taking him and his protégé along with it, and soon the downward spiral is leading to murder.

The trailer for Casino Jack looks really interesting, not just because Kevin Spacey looks set to deliver a powerhouse performance, but that the supporting cast includes Barry Pepper, Jon Lovitz and Kelly Preston. Worse than that you get to see what lobbyists really do in the halls of American power, and it's frightening. Oh, and this seems to be mainly true.

You can see the trailer right here:

The film is still looking good and with Spacey delivering his usual performance, how could you not want to see it?

There's another film relating to Casino Jack aka Jack Abramoff, Casino Jack and the United States of Money from the excellent documentary maker Alex Gibney, Taxi to the Darkside (Filmstalker review) being one of my favourite of his. While I love his documentaries and the subject matter, I would still love to see Spacey playing the role.
