While you can see the trademark speed changes in Zack Snyder's Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, the film is something different altogether. It is far from the film's he's made to date, and it looks glorious in effects and characters.

The film is adapting the novels of Kathryn Lasky that are an epic tale of owls, yes owls. It sounds bizarre but the novels have been very successful and the film looks fantastic too.

John Collee, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, Happy Feet and Creation, and John Orloff from A Mighty Heart, have produce the script that Zack Snyder has directed. It's entirely animated, is in 3D, looks glorious and carries a raft of great acting talent.

It's not all about the voices though, just look at how amazing the effects are when the owl is flying through the rain.
