Resident Evil: Afterlife new trailer online
A new trailer has arrived for Resident Evil: Afterlife, and it's looking rather good, some of the effects are pretty spectacular, even if there is a lot flying towards the camera. You have to give these films credit, they've kept the franchise going and earning money, and turned in an enjoyable film at the same time.
This new one looks set to deliver plenty more action and excitement, especially if it does look like there are going to be multiple Milla Jovovich's kicking butt, and with Samurai swords too.
Oh don't get all high brow people, this does look like it's going to be fun, and sometimes that's all you're really looking for in a film, fun. Here's the blurb for Resident Evil: Afterlife:
In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.
Good to see that Ali Larter is fighting alongside her, and that a few other characters are set to return. Still, I wonder if Paul W.S. Anderson can ever return to his former glory of Event Horizon? Could this be a start? I'm not so sure, there are aspects of it that are screaming Ultraviolet at me.
