Saw VII aka Saw 3D trailer in 2D

Saw-Jigsaw.jpgAre the traps in the Saw franchise just getting too big and too elaborate? They're now looking like they were put together using an entire special effects team over months, that Jigsaw bloke really has a lot of power over people after his death.

However what the trailer for Saw 3D does present is the idea that this could be the end of it all, the last Saw.

This one sees the survivors come together in a self-help group overseen by a survivor himself. While it all looks like a nice set-up I don't understand why the ethos of Jigsaw would mean he would go after survivors, wasn't the whole idea to liberate people through the fear of death or something like that?

I don't know. I think the series has lost its way to the gimmick of the trap and become like Final Destination, so I'm glad it's ending, if indeed it stays dead. Jigsaw didn't.

Looking at the traps in this new 3D aimed trailer you can see that the old adage has been applied, bigger and more. The trailer for Saw VII or Saw 3D originaly comes through IGN:

The film is also being marketed as coming to us in “vivid, chilling 3D”, ah is that what 3D is. It's also using the “cutting-edge SI-3D digital camera system”, which sounds cool, but will it make it a better film?
