Drive Angry 3D trailer online

DriveAngry.jpgI must admit that I wasn't even taking much notice of the film Drive Angry 3D for quite a number of reasons, Nicolas Cage being one and the very fact that there's 3D in the title, and that's not a very promising sign.

However the trailer is looking rather interesting for a number of reasons, okay it resembles a cross between Rock's upcoming Faster and Ghost Rider, but at the same time there's Amber Heard looking good and William Fichtner playing the devil's accountant. Now that's something good.

The film is directed by Patrick Lussier who also directed My Bloody Valentine and a number of lesser sequels and co-written by him and Todd Farmer.

It's a pretty daft tale and for the most part Nicolas Cage looks like he's doing the poor man's Dwayne Johnson from the also upcoming Faster, a film that looks much more fun.

However then we see Amber Heard, and she both looks lovely and sounds like she's giving a good performance, for the little we see of her. Then William Fichtner appears with a good few additional powers over the average character and everything seems to turn rather bizarre.

Point to note about Amber Heard and her place in the film according to the marketing department is her image on the poster. While Cage is in the background holding the steering wheel and looking mean, she's in the passenger seat, wind blowing her blonde hair, light falling on her tight shirted chest, and a bare leg lifted up to be seen. Look it's got Cage but it's also got a sexy blonde with big breasts. Oh dear.

You can see the trailer right here or over at Yahoo Trailers, and I'll save the blurb until after the trailer so you can have the same bizarre experience that I had. Here's the trailer for Drive Angry. Oh I'm sorry, Drive Angry 3D.

Now, here's a big blurb for you.

Drive Angry 3D stars Nicolas Cage as Milton, a hardened felon who has broken out for one last chance at redemption. Hell bent on stopping a vicious cult of fanatics who murdered his daughter, he has three days to stop them before they sacrifice his infant granddaughter beneath a full moon. Milton must us his anger to go beyond all human limits in order to save his last connection with humanity.

He's joined by Piper, a young sexy-smart waitress who liberates her ex-boyfriend's cherry red muscle car in order to help Milton. Now, the two of them are hot on the trail of the charismatic Jonah King and his murderous followers. King will throw every one of them faithful under the wheels of Milton's turbo-charged Black '71 Challenger, to fulfill hist destiny and unleash hell on earth.

But the bloodthirsty cult is the least of Milton's problems. The police are after him, too. And worse. An enigmatic killer known only as "The Accountant." The Accountant knows what Milton is trying to and and simply doesn't care. With wicked cunning and hypnotic savagery, the Accountant will relentlessly pursue Milton at high speed across the forgotten back roads of the American south.

Fueled by high octane and pure rage, Milton and Piper must battle the onslaught of King's disciples, avenge his murdered daughter, and save his granddaughter before his last chance at redemption is revoked.

What do you think then? Another rubbish film for Cage?

At least it isn't a remake!

The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it won't fail me as much as this one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read through, nonetheless I genuinely believed you'd have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of crying about something you can fix if you were not too busy seeking attention. payday loans
