The Torment aka The Possession of David O'Reilly trailer online

PossessionofDavidOReilly.jpgI remember seeing a trailer for this back in March of this year and was rather impressed, The Possession of David O'Reilly looked like a stylish, lower budget, horror film about the popular possession theme. However it never really got a release, and while it's been seen on demand in America, it's never ventured further. Which is strange considering it's not an American film, it's a British horror.

Now there's a new trailer online and it seems a new title, and I really do hope this marks a new release, although there's still nothing concrete on dates.

The film that was called The Possession of David O'Reilly now seems to be titled The Torment, and focuses on a couple who take in a friend to stay who turns out to be slightly odd. That feeling grows and before long they are caught in the flat with someone who might either be possessed or actually able to see something supernatural that the others can't.

This new trailer really brings that fear through, and I like the use of the dark and having to switch off the lights for the one you trust the least to be able to see what's out there.

The only problem I have wish this trailer, like the entire film of Paranormal Activity, is that there's a whole world outside the door, and they could just walk out. However perhaps there's a reason they can't.

Here's the new trailer for The Possession of David O'Reilly, or The Torment:
