Transformers: Dark of the Moon trailer arrives

TransformersDarkSideoftheMoon.jpgThe trailer for Transformers: Dark of the Moon has arrived and it takes us back in time to the first moon landings and our first view of the Transformers.

It's a nice teaser to get us started and the real footage mixes well with the film, plus the quality of the effects is, as always, stellar with Michael Bay. I have some concerns though.

I wonder what Transformers: Dark of the Moon is going to do when playing around with the timeline? By going back in time and revealing that the American government have known about Transformers since the moon landings, are we going to see anything from the first few films messed around with slightly?

We're obviously not staying with this timezone as a lot of the previous characters are back in the film so this is obviously a look back at historical events to set-up what's happening in the new story. Isn't it?

There are lots of questions about the film and ones that will get answered with the official blurb, which isn't here yet, so you'll have to make do with the trailer which is over at Apple Trailers or right here:

Well? Is it everything you thought? Yeah, don't get hung up on the fact that all those astronomers who were watching from Earth might have seen the ship as well as the Apollo spacecraft, I'm sure there's some form of cloaking device. Put that to the side and tell us what you think of the teaser.
