Update: 18 only trailer for I Saw the Devil

ISawtheDevil.jpgI'm jealous because my friend Steven, from the Filmstalker Film Club Audiocast, is seeing I Saw the Devil at the impending Glasgow Film Festival and I wasn't quick enough to book my tickets, as a result it's full, and I am disappointed because Kim Ji-woon's film looks fantastic.

Starring Lee Byung-hun and Choi Min-sik the film follows a rather well trained government agent whose fiancée is murdered by a brutal serial killer. Rather than help the police investigation he heads out for his own, protracted revenge.

The film looks fantastic, and no wonder since Kim Ji-woon directed A Tale of Two Sisters, A Bittersweet Life and The Good, the Bad, and the Weird (Filmstalker review), some fantastically visual films that had much more to them than just looking good.

The two previous trailers for I Saw the Devil (Akmareul Boattda) have looked really good, and then this trailer comes along which really changes the tone and the style of the film rather dramatically, and it makes it look even stronger.

However do be warned, this trailer for I Saw the Devil which comes through IGN and FirstShowing is an 18 only.

Update: The new trailer for I Saw the Devil is now over at Yahoo Movies in high definition.
