New Sucker Punch trailer

SuckerPunch.jpgThere's a brand new trailer out for Sucker Punch, which has about a month to go before it hits the streets, and I was rather excited about seeing the film, now I'm even more so. It looks pretty spectacular to be honest and the new trailer isn't letting me down any.

I did a frame by frame step through, but there's nothing really surprising from the last time I took screen grabs from it, there's everything we've seen before, just more shots, well edited, and with more of them.

That means gas mask Nazis, dragons, mech suits with guns, girls with guns, axes and samurai swords, and so much more. This one gives you a flavour of what the real story is behind all the fantasy, and Sucker Punch is looking fantastic.

To hell with test screenings and a bunch of people who are out for free tickets, let's get this film out to the audience and see what they think, and if you've toned anything down because of those freebies, shame on you.

Here are a couple of very different blurbs for the film which will tell two rather different stories. First from TrailerAddict:

Sucker Punch is an epic action fantasy that takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, but her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary…with potentially tragic consequences.

With the second from Yahoo Movies:

A young girl's dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality. Unrestrained by the boundaries of time and place, she is free to go where her mind takes her, and her incredible adventures blur the lines between what's real and what is imaginary. She has been locked away against her will, but Babydoll has not lost her will to survive. Determined to fight for her freedom, she urges four other young girls--the outspoken Rocket, the street-smart Blondie, the fiercely loyal Amber and the reluctant Sweet Pea - to band together and try to escape their terrible fate at the hands of their captors, Blue, Madam Gorski and the High Roller. Led by Babydoll, the girls engage in fantastical warfare against everything from samurais to serpents, with a virtual arsenal at their disposal. Together, they must decide what they are willing to sacrifice in order to stay alive. But with the help of a Wise Man, their unbelievable journey - if they succeed - will set them free.

Here's the embedded trailer from TrailerAddict, who also do high definition trailers, however the Quicktime high definition trailer is over at Yahoo Movies which came through Latino Review.
