Trust trailer challenges

Trust.jpgThe new trailer for Trust has a hell of a lot to say from the outset and it looks like it's set to challenge a hell of a lot about all aspects of the story, not just picking on the Internet or the standard avenues that a news story picks on.

Trust sees a young girl begin an online chat with a boy from America who she, after months of communication online, finally gets to meet. The problem is when they do meet he's not the person she expected, and she's pulled along with events that tear apart her life, her innocence, and her family.

The trailer for Trust looks immensely powerful, as do the performances, and this looks far less revenge focused than the previous trailer suggested, this looks to be more about the effect on the people, the parents, her and how her life crumbles around her.

Its very subtlety edited together and it does look very worthy of a watch. Perhaps this is a film that could do a lot of good.

Here's the trailer for Trust starring Clive Owen, Catherine Keener and Liana Liberato, which you can also see over at Apple Trailers.

Funny to watch that and think that it's directed by David Schwimmer.
