Puss in Boots teaser trailer

PussinBoots.jpgI don't think that this is the trailer we really need to see for Puss in Boots to win us over, although I'm sure some are won over already by the fact that Antonio Banderas is going to be voicing a side character from the Shrek series that was cool for one film and for one gag, the sad big eyes and the pussy cat looks while being a swordsman for hire.

What we need is more than a character trailer, we know the character, we've seen him in the previous character teaser trailer and the previous Shrek films, why do we need to see it all again?

What we actually need to see is something about the story, all of what we see in this trailer is what we've already seen and already know, do we really need the reminder?

Even then I do wonder what we're going to get from a film just about this character, the whole cat swordsman joke played out through an entire film? Is that really enough? Maybe the blurb will tell us?

Puss In Boots - one of the most beloved characters of the Shrek universe - tells the hilarious and courageous (daring, bold, brave) tale of Puss's (Antonio Banderas) early adventures as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the street-savvy Kitty (Salma Hayek) to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.

Nope, it doesn't.

Here's the teaser which you can also see over at Apple Trailers in Quicktime high definition, come on now, are you really wanting to see a Puss in Boots film?
