A trailer for Life in a Day has arrived while I was on my Easter holidays and I'm quite surprised at how quickly I connected with it, undoubtedly because these are all real people filming real moments in their lives that occurred on this one day.

I just wish my day had been as exciting as half these peoples and then I could have filmed it and submitted it to the project for Kevin Macdonald and Scott Free to edit into the final film, for that is what the film was all about, real people's lives in one day.

My problem is that I just wasn't doing anything as exciting as most of these people that day, and if I could have thought that something I did was interesting enough I would have filmed it, or done something especially.

Life in a Day is just that, but for people all around the world. Anyone was invited to film a short moment of their day and send it in, and pretty soon a documentary will be edited together and in July we'll get to see who has been included and what the footage will say about us.

Judging from the trailer it's going to be emotional, for already that was capturing me and I was feeling affinity, awe, inspiration and connection with some of the people and the events of their day.
