A full trailer for Conan the Barbarian has arrived online and I have to admit I'm surprised, it's really good and pretty epic. The scale is a lot bigger than I thought, it's very stylish and action packed, the effects are good and it does pack a powerful punch.

Could this be a bit of a hit? Looking at the trailer I wouldn't be surprised.

The new Conan the Barbarian comes from director Marcus Nispel who brought us the Friday the 13th remake, and it stars Jason Momoa as the new Conan, and he definitely looks the part in the trailer that's for sure.

Alongside him we see Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, Ron Perlman and Saïd Taghmaoui, a good cast overall. The plot of the film seems pretty simple enough:

The tale of Conan the Cimmerian and his adventures across the continent of Hyboria on a quest to avenge the murder of his father and the slaughter of his village.

But throw in a few different evil characters, sorcery, and armies to defeat and there's a pretty action packed film, and the trailer doesn't let you forget that.
