Gotti gets Travoltas and Levinson...

Paranormal Activity 3?...

Dougray Scott's the Last Passenger...

Bradley Cooper in Milton's Paradise Lost...

Arnie picks first film...

PWSA takes Pompeii from Polanski...

Rachel Weisz is an evil witch...

Donaldson directing Owen in Cities...

Gotti gets Travoltas and Levinson...
Kelly Preston has joined Gotti: Three Generations to play Victoria Gotti, the wife of John Gotti Sr. who will be played by her real life husband John Travolta according to Deadline. Have they acted together before? Meanwhile Nick Cassavetes was replaced by Barry Levinson to direct the film which will explore the relationship between John Gotti Jr. and John Gotti Sr., the young Gotti has given the film his blessing according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Paranormal Activity 3?...
Yes, unbelievably it's actually happening, there's going to be a Paranormal Activity 3 so says Variety. To be fair I never thought of watching the second after Paranormal Activity (Filmstalker review) was so poor, but not everyone thought that way. Hence the makers of Catfish have been asked on board to make a third film. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman are directing, Oren Peli is returning to produce while Christopher B. Landon, who wrote the second, is set to write the third. Want to see it?

Dougray Scott's the Last Passenger...
Dougray Scott is joining the film the Last Passenger from first time director Omid Nooshin according to . I do like Scott, that's why I'm picking up on this film. It tells the story of an overworked doctor trapped on a runaway train leaving London at Christmas. Boy, does that sound a little weighted with problems against the main character.

Bradley Cooper in Milton's Paradise Lost...
John Milton's seventeenth century poem Paradise Lost is being adapted to film and Variety says that Bradley Cooper could well be playing the role of Mephistopheles in the story which tells the story of a battle in heaven between the archangels Michael and Lucifer a story which stretches across such tales as Adam and Eve. Sounds like it could be pretty exciting stuff and it looks like Alex Proyas is directing, even better.

Arnie picks first film...
So Arnold Schwarzenegger has picked his first film to return to, and this one has a production deal, a script and a director, way more than the faintest whiff of a new Terminator film. Cry Macho sees a horse trainer who is hired to kidnap a nine year old boy. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Brad Furman, of The Lincoln Lawyer, is set to direct. The story comes from a 195 novel by Richard Nash who wrote the screenplay before his death.

PWSA takes Pompeii from Polanski...
It's hard to believe but Paul W.S. Anderson, who brought 3D to The Three Musketeers, is up next to direct a film about the epic disaster story Pompeii which tells the story of the huge eruption of Mount Vesuvius back in the days of the Roman Empire. Roman Polanski was set to direct an adaptation of the Robert Harris book (Pompeii / Amazon.com) of the same name but pulled out, but don't get the two confused, according to the The Hollywood Reporter story this is a different plot. Anderson's film follows a slave of a shipping tycoon who is working to try and buy his freedom and marry his master's daughter, yet he's been sold to someone else while she's being married to corrupt Roman senator. Oh, and the volcano has erupted like never before and never again, just to add to his bad day. Bet you it's in 3D and Milla Jovovich will star.

Rachel Weisz is an evil witch...
Rachel Weisz is in negotiations to join James Franco and Mila Kunis in Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great and Powerful. What's more is that she's in negotiations to play Evanora, the evil witch who is trying to rule the land of Oz and is trying to seduce her sister, a good witch played by Kunis, to her ways. Franco plays a snake oil salesman whose balloon is transported to Oz and pits him against the witch. The story comes from .

Donaldson directing Owen in Cities...
Roger Donaldson, director of No Way Out, White Sands, Species, Thirteen Days, The Recruit, The World's Fastest Indian and The Bank Job, is set to direct Cities, a film which will star Clive Owen and Anil Kapoor. The film will tell the story of a New York hedge fund manager, a young London couple looking to buy their first home and a Mumbai cop fighting corruption and bring them together in some way according to Variety. Donaldson is a very good director and with Owen this is already looking interesting.
