Uncertainty over Dirty Girl trailer
Dirty Girl just didn't seem very interesting when I saw the title and the poster, I immediately made a decision about it and it wasn't a good outcome. Then I saw the trailer and I thought perhaps there is something there, although I'm still not convinced.
Mind you, it does carry an interesting cast list, Juno Temple, Milla Jovovich, William H. Macy, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam and Jeremy Dozier.
The film sees two very different people pulled together in a road trip that will see them discover things about themselves and each other, and hopefully become better people at the end of it. Here's the blurb for Dirty Girl starring Juno Temple:
"Dirty Girl" is the story of Danielle (Juno Temple), the dirty girl of Norman High School in Norman, Oklahoma, circa 1987. When Danielle's misbehavior gets her banished to a remedial class, she is paired on a parenting project with Clarke (Jeremy Dozier), an innocent closet-case with no friends. Danielle is determined to get to California to find the father she's never met, and Clarke is desperate to escape being sent to military school by his homophobic dad. Together, the mismatched misfits light out for California, and discover each other and themselves through a funny and serendipitous friendship.
You can see the trailer over at Apple Trailers and I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it. Is there anything to be had from it?
