You Instead trailer from T in the Park

YouInstead.jpgThis trailer caught my eye today, it's for a film that was shot entirely on location during the Scottish music festival T in the Park over five days and seems to have a rather interesting storyline where two singers from two different bands are handcuffed together and forced to spend a day at the festival sharing their lives and experiences.

Of course it's pretty clear what's going to happen, but it's the journey here we're interested in, and the fact that they seem to actually end up on stage during the real festival, singing live to the crowd. Were you there?

Here's the plot for You Instead, give it a go and head to the trailer afterwards.

Shot guerrilla-style, over five days during T in the Park in the summer of 2010, You Instead is a free-wheeling rock'n'roll love story set against the raucous magnificence and unforgettable sounds of Scotland's leading music festival.

The film features a charismatic performance from Luke Treadaway as strutting indie star Adam. Arriving at T in the Park for his gig, Adam is handcuffed to punky girl-band leader Morello. Initial frustration gives away to grudging acceptance and then the stirring of genuine feelings over the next 24 hours of the festival.

Well what do you think? Sure there are the standard beats in there, but there's some fun to be had especially if you were in the audience at the time.
