In Time trailer gives too much away?
The Andrew Niccol film In Time starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, Olivia Wilde, Alex Pettyfer, Cillian Murphy and Johnny Galecki has a great premise to it and the recent trailers have been looking really strong, but this new trailer gives too much away for me and doesn't help the film.
It still looks great, the cool cars, the slick sets and cool effects and the stylish music playing, but the opening scene reveals a fate of one of the big actors in it and the closing scene, which mirrors this opening one, might just give away the rest of the story too.
The film tells the story of a future where the currency is time. Once you pass a certain age your clock starts ticking down and the only way to get more time is to work for it, and work hard. However one man is gifted an obscene amount of time by someone who then kills themselves and suddenly he's on the run from the rich of the world, the ones who have all the time they want.
In Time does look really good, and even with this new trailer it looks good, I'm just concerned about how much it's giving away.
Seriously I wouldn't recommend watching this trailer, but if you do it's right here through JoBlo:
