Margin Call new trailer hits home

MarginCall.jpgMargin Call is a film which is merely inspired by actual events, don't take it as fact, but it does lay down a frightening scenario of big business and should reflect some actual stories of what happened the day the markets fell.

The film boasts a great cast with Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Simon Baker, Mary McDonnell, Demi Moore, Stanley Tucci, and more, and it looks set to deliver a powerful but thoughtfully delivered thriller.

The new trailer for Margin Call is a bit of a cracker I think, it has an easy pace and concentrates on characters and their reactions, keeping the explanation till a little later on in the trailer works wonders as well.

It does look like a powerful thriller that's really going to allow actors to act, delivering strong character and emotional performances, and the cast line-up surely suggests that too.

Here's the blurb for Margin Call:

Set in the high-stakes world of the financial industry, Margin Call is a thriller entangling the key players at an investment firm during one perilous 24-hour period in the early stages of the 2008 financial crisis. When an entry-level analyst unlocks information that could prove to be the downfall of the firm, a roller-coaster ride ensues as decisions both financial and moral catapult the lives of all involved to the brink of disaster.

You can see the new trailer for the film over at Apple Trailers in high definition and it is a fantastic slow burner.
