Stalked: New trailers for Melancholia, A Dangerous Method, Blackthorn and Warrior

Rather than force a whole new article for each of these trailers, a quick paragraph is all that's needed so you can get to the meat of the article, the new trailers for Melancholia, A Dangerous Method, Blackthorn and Warrior themselves.

Blackthorn intrigues me, as we see Butch Cassidy as an old man having one last adventure; A Dangerous Method looks uniquely interesting and has the promise of great actors in a story of Jung and Freud; Melancholia will show us the end of the world, LvT style, and Warrior looks set to bring us a dramatic fight film filled with relationships and family.

Blackthorn has a new trailer, and out of the three here this is the least changed but it still tells us more of the story. I don't know but I have to admit that the idea of seeing Butch Cassidy having lived past the classic Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid film was rather unappealing to me, but then the more I've seen through the trailers the more I've become interested in the story, and this latest trailer builds more on the relationship between the two leads and gives us a clearer picture of what Cassidy is doing in the film. Sam Shepard, Eduardo Noriega and Stephen Rea are name enough to go see the film.

There's a new trailer out for A Dangerous Method, and it does take us deeper into the story than we've previously been. This trailer gives us more for the characters and the performances, and with a line-up of Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley, Viggo Mortensen and Vincent Cassel, you have to be sold already. The good thing about this trailer is it's less about the names behind the events and more about the people. Could David Cronenberg have another hit on his hands?

You can see the new trailer for Melancholia over at Yahoo Movies in high definition, or right here. The narrative is different and we see a lot more from other characters, but the key moments are still here and it's a film from Lars von Trier that looks like it has to be seen, not just for the famous and diverse cast.

The new trailer for Warrior looks rather good and again the focus here is more towards the characters and their relationships. This tends to happen, the earlier trailers for films hit the action, noise and high points and as more are released we get down to the nitty gritty of the film. This trailer does do that, and again with a great cast. It's not just a fight film, far from it this trailer would tell us. Plus there's Joel Edgerton, Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte and Jennifer Morrison.
