Arthur Christmas trailer gives a warm feeling
I wasn't really that interested in watching or writing about the trailer for Arthur Christmas, but then as I watched it I was starting to feel a little smile grow, little mind you, and somewhere during the trailer I realised it was kind of fun.
I'm not totally sold on the film, but it does look it could be a bit of a laugh, especially for the kids and ones who believe and don't believe.
Arthur Christmas comes from Aardman and stars the usually strong British cast list, headed up by James McAvoy, Hugh Laurie, Bill Nighy and Jim Broadbent. It's Sarah Smith's first feature film she's directed and she co-wrote it with a writer from British television comedies and who recently rewrote Arthur, Peter Baynham.
It does look like it could be a lot of fun, especially for the kids, but will there be something in there for adults too? Perhaps to reclaim some of that youthful joy?
