New Red Tails trailer gives more

RedTails.jpgThankfully the new trailer for Red Tails gives us more from the film and suggests that it's going to be a lot better than we might have first thought. After all the first few trailers weren't fantastic, but this one has a strong rousing sense and concentrates less on Lucas' effects.

Mind you in this trailer for the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, first African-American combat squadron to fight for America in World War II there are still a few issues, and I find myself struggling with the early speeches of Terrence Howard.

Perhaps it's just context, but the flat emotionless delivery with expertly enunciated wording just doesn't work for me, when he does get impassioned with his final speech it does work much better and the rousing music grabs a hold of you.

This trailer does tell the story much better, and it also looks like it's going to work out well for them all from it, of course it can't because this is war, but it makes the film look a lot better from the previous trailers.

Red Tails comes from first time director Anthony Hemingway from John Ridley's and Aaron McGruder's screenplay, and stars a Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard as the leads for the film with Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, David Oyelowo, Tristan Wilds, Method Man, Kevin Phillips, Rick Otto, Lee Tergesen, Andre Royo, Ne-Yo, Elijah Kelley, Marcus T. Paulk, Leslie Odom Jr., Michael B. Jordan, Jazmine Sullivan, Edwina Findley, Daniela Ruah and Stacie Davis.

The new trailer for Red Tails comes through Deadline and is well worth a look, but will the film attract your attention?
