The Dark Knight Rises trailer isn't the Prologue footage
The Dark Knight Rises trailer has been seen before Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and has been recorded and released online, and the first thing that I realised is that this is not the Prologue footage that so many, including myself, were shown the other week, this is a proper trailer. From what we had been told at the IMAX screening the footage we saw was going to be shown before Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.
Not so according to the bootlegged trailer that is now online for The Dark Knight Rises.
You can read about The Dark Knight Rises footage that we were lucky enough to see in IMAX last week right here on Filmstalker, and it's nothing like the footage that we're seeing for the release of Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.
It's not a disappointment though because what we are going to see is a proper trailer with all the characters featured and much more of a reveal of the story.
Mind you I have to say that it's really hard to hear the dialogue in this footage filmed from the trailer, it hasn't been recorded well and I struggled to make out what the voiceovers were telling us. Still the visuals are good and it's getting me excited for the release of the actual trailer, or for me seeing it on Wednesday in Edinburgh's new IMAX cinema just before Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol .
In the meantime here's the roughly recorded footage from The Dark Knight Rises trailer through TrailerAddict which looks great for being a videoed copy.
Now I can't wait to see the proper one. Roll on Wednesday.
