The Three Stooges has a trailer

TheThreeStooges.jpgOuch. Okay, I have to admit I did laugh at a few moments of the trailer for The Three Stooges, and it's definitely worth pointing out I am not a fan of the original team and have never even watched a full film of theirs, so perhaps I'm not the best to judge the trailer for the modern take.

The film written and directed by Bobby Farrelly stars Chris Diamantopoulos, Will Sasso and Sean Hayes in the leading roles, who to my limited knowledge seem to fit rather well, what doesn't fit rather well is the big breasted Nun in the sexy bikini, what is that all about?

Well obviously I know what all that is about, sex sells and comedy and sex go hand in hand, I'm sure there's a joke there somewhere, but it just all looks a little cheap and dare I say lower grade humour.

Here's the blurb for The Three Stooges:

Left on a nun's doorstep, Larry, Curly and Moe grow up finger-poking, nyuk-nyuking and woo-woo-wooing their way to uncharted levels of knuckleheaded misadventure. Out to save their childhood home, only The Three Stooges could become embroiled in an oddball murder plot...while also stumbling into starring in a phenomenally successful TV reality show.

Now we've done that, here's the trailer through TrailerAddict which you can see over at Apple Trailers:

Definitely not for me, although I did giggle at a couple of the fast paced slapstick scenes between the main characters which seemed very well choreographed.

Mmm, nice hooters.

I did think that...are we talking about the same set?!
