I've already seen one trailer for this film starring Chris Pine, Tom Hardy and Reese Witherspoon, and while it did look fun I wasn't expecting a great deal from it. However the second trailer does come back delivering the same feeling and a little bit more.

Two friends who are also CIA agents find out they are dating the same girl, so they set out on a war against each other to see which one can end up winning her. Come on, we all know where this is going, but it's the battle that's the fun part.

Isn't it? Well from the trailer it sure does look like the battle is the fun part. Here's the blurb for This Means War:

Two lifelong best friends, dedicated to their lives as CIA spies, wage an epic war against one another after they both fall in love with the same unsuspecting woman, an indecisive product tester forced to make the toughest choice of her life.

The trailer comes from TrailerAddict and looks rather good fun, especially considering that Tom Hardy stars in the film, a man more known for his weighty roles that even when they are Hollywood carry something more than you'd expect, usually a lot more. He's not known for playing lighter roles.

So does that mean that there's more to this McG directed film than the trailer might suggest? Perhaps not, but then it does look like it might be packed with fun much like Mr and Mrs Smith.
