I Am Bruce Lee documentary trailer

BruceLee.jpgI Am Bruce Lee is another documentary about the hugely talented and influential Bruce Lee, and let's face it we can never have enough documentaries about the man, as long as they do bring something new, and the trailer for I Am Bruce Lee suggests that there is something new to bring.

Well I say that, but there's also something strange, a mix of faces talking about the man, some of whom you find yourself looking at and wondering why we're hearing from them, Mickey Rourke and Black Eyed Peas' Taboo? Gina Carano I can understand, but some of the celebrities might have you wondering if this is more about the celebrity of Lee rather than Lee himself.

There is a reason though that there are so many newer faces in the trailer, that's because the documentary is looking at just why Bruce Lee is as popular a figure as he ever was, more so these days in fact.

Here's the blurb for the Pete McCormack documentary I Am Bruce Lee:

Bruce Lee is universally recognized as the pioneer who elevated martial arts in film to an art form, and this doc reveals why Bruce Lee's flame burns brighter now than the day he died over three decades ago.

I Am Bruce Lee also looks set to carry more from the man himself, as the trailer shows with some interview footage from the man.

First Showing have the trailer through the official site for the film and you can see it right here:

I do hope there's a lot from the man himself from past interviews and action on and off the set, for this is really what I want to see from a Bruce Lee documentary, more about the man and his teachings.
