Jeff Who Lives at Home trailer

JeffWhoLivesAtHome.jpgI'm not overly taken with the trailer for Jeff Who Lives at Home, perhaps because I think it tells us too much of what we're going to expect in some of the turns of the story and perhaps because it has the feel and beat of many quirky stories we've seen already like this.

I mean after watching Jason Segel, Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon in the trailer I'm pretty sure that we'll see the strange and excluded Segel character turning out to be the sane one who brings together everyone else and their "normal" lives by injecting some madness and everything turns out happy in the end.

Mind you, perhaps it's about the journey more than anything and the two brothers getting to know each other? Oh wait, I'm ahead of myself, let me give you the blurb for Jeff Who Lives at Home:

On his way to the store to buy wood glue, Jeff looks for signs from the universe to determine his path. However, a series of comedic and unexpected events leads him to cross paths with his family in the strangest of locations and circumstances. Jeff just may find the meaning of his life... and if he's lucky, pick up the wood glue as well.

Jeff Who Lives at Home comes from writers and directors Mark and Jay Duplass and the trailer below comes through Trailer Addict:

Should I be more excited? Is there more to it than we've seen before?
