Wrath of the Titans gains a new trailer

WrathoftheTitans.jpgThe new trailer for Wrath of the Titans has actually surprised me, the effects look amazing and the trailer really pulls you in, not just because of the strong cast behind it with Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson and Rosamund Pike being shown in the trailer itself, but Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston and Édgar Ramírez as well.

It's some of the imagery though that shocked me, this film is looking epic in scale, but will it deliver in final showing? The first didn't do well and it's clear that there's still a heavy play on the 3D aspect in this film, will you go to see it?

Here's a nice short blurb for Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to the remake Clash of the Titans which didn't do so well, and to be fair didn't look as grand or as menacing as this trailer does:

Perseus embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, who has been targeted for capture by his traitorous son, Ares, and his brother, Hades.

You can see the new trailer over at Apple Trailers in high definition or right here through TrailerAddict. Considering the effects I got the full HD version going and looked at some of the creatures in the film. Could this turn out well? Has director Jonathan Liebesman managed to save it from the Clash?
