Neighbourhood Watch teaser trailer doesn't impress

NeighbourhoodWatch.jpgThe blurb for Neighbourhood Watch might suggest an Attack the Block story U.S. style, but the trailer suggests something different, in fact it looks eerily like a mix of other American comedies we've seen with the final scene seeming as though it's just out of the 21 Jump Street trailer.

What surprises me about this teaser trailer is that there's nothing about the main blurb and it seems to be missing the main point of the story, the alien invasion. Right now the teaser is under selling the film.

Here's the blurb for Neighbourhood Watch which stars Jonah Hill, Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn, so you can see where this is going already, but then there's Billy Crudup, a bit of a surprise in the cast:

Four everyday suburban guys come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood -- and the world -- from total extermination.
