Haneke's Love (Amour) International trailer

MichaelHaneke.jpgWell. It's Michael Haneke and the reviews and comments coming about the film are strong, but the trailer is another one that doesn't sell the film well enough for me.

There's not much plot to go with the film, but there is a strong cast. I wonder if the film will deliver with the expectation that Haneke's name will raise for it.

Michael Haneke's new film Love (Amour) stars Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and Isabelle Huppert and the plot goes like this:

Georges and Anne are in their eighties. they are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack. The couple's bond of love is severely tested.

Of course the film has been nominated for a Palme d'Or this year, and it's no surprise. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being negative about the film and that the hype is instantly around the director because it's well deserved, I just wish the trailer gave us a little more than it did.

Here's the trailer for Love (Amour) which quietly appeared on TrailerAddict so that you can decide for yourself:
