Airborne trailer uses some recognisable music
Oh I know that Airborne looks like a direct to digital delivery and it's not exactly brimming with intelligence, budget or stars, but it does carry a rather recognisable tune to it and there is something about how well put together the trailer is.
The British film seems to be set for the U.S. as well and is hitting digital distribution in the coming months, hence the trailer, and it carries some recognisable faces such as Julian Glover, Mark Hamill, Billy Murray, Simon Phillips, Alan Ford and Gemma Atkinson.
Oh yes I know what you're thinking now, but those names have all appeared in a variety of films and roles and the trailer for Airborne does shows some sparks.
The writer and director don't have a list of recognisable names to their credit, the director stars and a few of the recognisable actors are also producers of which there are many, so signs aren't glowing for the film. Here's a blurb to get you going:
As a snow storm closes in, one final plane takes off. The plane reports to the ground that both pilots are dead, while the slowly dwindling number of passengers on the plane wish that they'd never left the ground.
Now here's the trailer for Airborne that comes through ShockTillYouDrop with a very familiar theme that I am surprised they're allowed to use:
Do you recognise the tune? Can they get away with using that? There's a connection there, though, and it's not too hard to spot.
