Looper International trailer

Looper.jpgIf you don't know about Looper yet then you've been missing out. This time travelling conundrum of a story from writer and director Rian Johnson who brought us the excellent Brick (Filmstalker review) stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels with Gordon-Levitt playing the young version of the older character played by Willis, one sent back in time to be killed by the other.

The new trailer has more story explanation and more footage and looks the best to date, so if you weren't sold on the film yet this is the one that's going to do it for you without a doubt.

Here's a quick blurb for Looper, although most of it is in the trailer anyway:

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented - but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" - a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) - is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.

The new trailer feels more of a complete product than the rest and considering the release date is 28th September then it could well be the final one, perhaps we'll see this released without the subtitles and then we'll be waiting for the film. Already this is a must see film, it's screaming clever, inventive and it's definitely going to be stylish.
