A new trailer for the non-Scientology Scientology film from Paul Thomas Anderson has appeared and it carries with it a bit more explanation of some of the story and the elements of the cult that is created in the story.

I'm not just excited for the fact that its Paul Thomas Anderson film but more and more I'm getting excited about the partnership of Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix, as the trailers reveal more of the two characters together the more I'm being drawn to it.

The trailer is there to advertise some special screenings for The Master raising money for the Film Foundation. However the most important thing for us is that the trailer gives us more footage and more of the two leads Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix, particularly Hoffman.

You've got to be getting interested in this now, even if you don't get drawn to the idea of the real story behind Scientology and similar cults the performances and writer/director are enough to get you interested. I certainly am.
