St. George's Day trailer, why the English are feared
The trailer for St. George's Day begins with a rather strong looking gangster trailer which then turns into something rather different that I'm not really sure about, in the end it changes to a football hooligan film.
That said it stars a fair amount of interesting actors Charles Dance, Vincent Regan, Craig Fairbrass, Dexter Fletcher, Sean Pertwee, Luke Treadaway, Keeley Hazell, Angela Gots, Ashley Walters, Nick Moran, Jamie Foreman, Frank Harper and Zlatko Buric.
I'm really not sure what to make of the film as yet. The trailer for St. George's Day does definitely feel like two very different films although the story connection is there. Then there's the list of actors on the project and just how strong the first half of that trailer looks.
Here's the blurb for St. George's Day, see what you think.
Infamous London gangster cousins, Micky Mannock and Ray Collishaw, are at the top of the food chain, when their world is turned upside down as they lose a shipment of the Russian Mafia's cocaine in rough seas. Set in London, Amsterdam and Berlin, the story races across Europe at breakneck speed as Micky and Ray attempt to stay one step ahead of the Police. Can they pull off a daring diamond heist in time to put things right and retire to a "legitimate" way of life.
I'm really not sure about the film, the trailer or the message the film could be delivering, but then there's Charles Dance, Vincent Regan, Craig Fairbrass, Dexter Fletcher, Sean Pertwee and Luke Treadaway.
Let's see what you think of it and decide for yourself. Here's the trailer for St. George's Day which comes through TrailerAddict:
