A Good Day to Die Hard trailer
Is it A Good Day to Die Hard? I have to admit I'm not overly fond of the title of the new Die Hard film, but perhaps those of us more east from Hollywoodland might see something similar as with Die Hard 4.0, a better title.
Something that I'm not concerned about though is how action packed the film is, not after seeing the teaser trailer for the new Die Hard film.
A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth film in the Die Hard franchise, something I thought I would never say before Die Hard 4.0 (Filmstalker review) but afterwards wanted to hear said out loud.
I had a dip of faith though, mainly when I heard the story was about John McClane and his son, John McClane Jr., fighting side by side. It seemed far too similar to the previous film lead character dynamics and like a calling card from Hollywood saying "we're getting ready for the Die Hard Jr. series".
Interestingly the teaser trailer doesn't feature much of John McClane Jr. played by Jai Courtney, and even then not a great deal of Bruce Willis as John McClane, nor of Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Amaury Nolasco, Mary Elizabeth Winstead or Aksel Hennie. Mind you it could do, but then it races through to prove one point and prove it well.
A Good Day to Die Hard is not easing up on the action, in fact it's bringing it in droves.
Here's the teaser trailer through TrailerAddict to prove just that, as well as delivering a cool take on the Die Hard theme.
Loving it? I am. From the looks of the trailer I think Skip Woods and John Moore might have produced another strong Die Hard film.
