Movie 43 trailer is really offensive

Movie43.jpgI'm not sold on Movie 43 although the idea does have me interested as I've liked films such as Amazon Women on the Moon which bring together a diverse cast of stars into a series of comedic sketches that are linked in some way, no matter how loosely linked!

There are a mix of writers and directors, directors from Brett Ratner, Peter Farrelly to Elizabeth Banks, and a huge spree of stars including some heady names such as Kate Winslet, Naomi Watts, Hugh Jackman, Uma Thurman, Halle Berry, Gerard Butler and Richard Gere.

It's an impressive list of stars and the trailer shows that too, bear in mind this is a MPAA red band and I'd say over eighteen only trailer which has three clear things to show you, it's crazy and off the wall, it has a huge amount of stars, and it's going to be offensive without a doubt.

If, like me, you think the lazy comedy of bodily function and sex jokes is, well, just lazy and uninteresting then this trailer might not excite you as much as some. However something you will surely be surprised at is the reveal of Gerard Butler's character, which made me laugh out loud. Perhaps that was with surprise though.

Here's the blurb for Movie 43 through TrailerAddict:

Take a hilarious director, add a brilliant cast, mix in some twisted jokes, remove all boundaries, and then stand back... way back. In Movie 43, comedy is served steaming hot (literally) by director Peter Farrelly of The Farrelly Brothers in one of the most shocking, original, and dangerous comedies ever made.

Okay then, here's the trailer to see what you think of it. For me Movie 43 doesn't look like it's going to deliver anything exciting, interesting or new. See what you think:
