Hitchcock new trailer gives more story
There's a new trailer online for Hitchcock, the film about the making of Psycho and the relationship between Alfred Hitchcock and his production partner and wife Alma Reville during the surprisingly difficult time to get the film made.
The great thing about this is not just that we get the excellent Helen Mirren and Anthony Hopkins on screen together but Hopkins is playing Hitchcock and looks like he's really taken to the role. I'm sold.
This new trailer for Hitchcock gives us more of the story and shows us some more of the tension that's going to build up in the film, oh and it takes us to that iconic scene. Perhaps the most surprising thing is the humorous side of Hitchcock, even if it is just the Hitchcock in this film.
Here's the new trailer for Hitchcock which comes through TrailerAddict. It was written by John J. McLaughlin who adapted it from the novel by Stephen Rebello and who also wrote for Black Swan (Filmstalker review), and directed by Sacha Gervasi who previously directed the documentary Anvil: The Story of Anvil. It's an interesting mix.
