At Any Price trailer features Quaid and Efron

At Any Price seems a strange story to be doing so well, a struggling father-son relationship as the son fights to get away from the family business of farming and a crisis threatens to pull them all apart, but it reminds me of films like The Company Men which tells a real and heartfelt story of people struggling to live through tough times.

The film, directed by Ramin Bahrani and co-written by himself and Hallie Elizabeth Newton, stars Dennis Quaid, Zac Efron, Heather Graham and Clancy Brown and begins feeling like a strange mix of films in the limited time the trailer allows, however it soon drives the dramatic home.

What's more is that At Any Price has been doing very well at festivals, gaining a lot of positive comments and winning a healthy amount of praise.

Here's a short blurb for the film:

A farming family's business is threatened by an unexpected crisis, further testing the relationship between a father and his rebellious son.

The trailer, which is over at through First Showing, is a strong one although in this short space of time there does feel like there are a number of clichés to be had - a racing car driver from a farmer's son? - however it is a trailer and it has to appeal to the masses. From what I'm hearing this is a much stronger film than you, and I, might at first believe.

Here's the trailer for At Any Price:

I do love Dennis Quaid and there's a good cast along with him too. Something to watch out for.
