Colin Farrell, Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper, Terrence Howard, Armand Assante and Isabelle Huppert star in this Niels Arden Oplev directed film. Who you might ask, well he directed the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Filmstalker review), something that is being highlighted in the trailer itself.

The thriller has a clever storyline from the beginning and promises a dark and taught thriller, not to mention some action to go along with it.

Dead Man Down is a powerful action thriller and portrait of two people caught in the cross-hairs of revenge. Director Oplev and leading lady Rapace reunite for another thrilling tale of vengeance, with Colin Farrell joining the prestigious team as Victor, a professional killer and the right hand man to an underground crime lord in New York City, is seduced and blackmailed by Beatrice (Rapace), a crime victim seeking retribution. Their chemistry and intense relationship leads them to execute a violent and cathartic plan for revenge.

That alone sounds interesting but the trailer clinches the deal, you can see it below to see what I mean. I'm sold on the idea and the cast sound rather interesting too and my desire to see how the director performs after The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Filmstalker review) is a strong attraction.
