Sweeney DVD/Blu-ray trailer should have been the cinematic trailer

TheSweeneyFilm.jpgI haven't seen The Sweeney yet and to be honest the previous trailers haven't really enamoured me to the idea of seeing it even if Ray Winstone does star, but now a trailer for the impending American release or the British DVD/Blu-ray release whichever you prefer has arrived, and it looks a lot better.

I like the way the story plays and the dramatic beats it offers far more than the UK release versions I've seen.

For those of you who have forgotten, or for those of you who haven't seen The Sweeney as yet, here's a blurb for it:

The Sweeney is a stylish, exhilarating action thriller proving sometimes you have to act like a criminal to catch a criminal. Armed and dangerous, the Sweeney Flying Squad are old school crime fighters enforcing the law. Led by legendary detective Jack Regan (Ray Winstone) and his loyal partner, they have their own unique way of operating and always get results. With a bank heist in progress and his old enemy making a reappearance on the London crime scene, Regan will do whatever it takes to get the job done, even defying orders from his no-nonsense boss (Damian Lewis).

Now here's the new trailer for The Sweeney through Apple Trailers and TrailerAddict, it does look a lot better than I considered it first time around and perhaps I should give it another shot. What do you think?
