New I A Number Four trailer online

IAmNumberFour.jpgThere's a new trailer out for I Am Number Four and quite frankly it takes your expectations and ramps them up by a factor of ten. There's a clearer story, a stronger sense of the core of the character, and plenty of action and effects scenes.

The film is looking really good and it looks set to deliver an action science fiction film that could really excite, and is that any surprise with D.J. Caruso directing and the cast including Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Diana Agron and Kevin Durand?

We also get a bit more of a glimpse of who the bad guys are and why the main character, Number Four, has to keep running. However the big thing about this new trailer for I Am Number Four is that the effects teams have been hard at work on the film and they've delivered a series of great looking effects sequences through the latter half of the trailer.

You'll remember how the story goes:

Extraordinary teen John Smith (Pettyfer) is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events-his first love (Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.

Here's the new trailer for the film which you can also see on Apple Trailers:
