Lockout or Lock-Out or MS One: Maximum Security has a fantastic new trailer

Lockout.jpgI'm not sure what to call it now, everyone's saying Lockout on the Internet and IMDB still display all three titles but their main one is the English title of MS One: Maximum Security. Whether that means it's only called that in England, and not the rest of Britain, I'm not sure. However let's go with Lockout for the rest of the article for now.

The film is directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Leger, written by both and Luc Besson and stars Guy Pearce, Maggie Grace, Peter Stormare, Lennie James, Vincent Regan and more, and so far it's looked like Escape From New York in Space.

The latest trailer does a little to say otherwise on that score, but it's still very similar, mainly because of the wise cracking hard man who is called in to save the President's daughter from a maximum security prison, the likes of we've never seen before, where the inmates have taken over.

I don't like labelling films on other films, but in this case it really does fit but at the same time the reason I'm still doing it is because it's also a damn good thing, especially when you've seen the trailers, and mainly because there are enough differences not to call it a remake, and Guy Pearce is the lead, a lead that could be more of a combination of McClane and Plissken rather than one or the other. Plus this now looks much more of an all out action film.

The first trailer really did lay down the Plissken feel, now the new trailer takes us into effects and all out action showing us that there are a number of twists to the story.

I have to say I love the look and style of Lockout or MS One: Maximum Security, see what you think with this new trailer through IGN, where you can see it in high definition, and First Showing:

Don't Scottish people make great film psychopaths?
