Red Band Pain & Gain trailer looks like fun

PainandGain.jpgThe new Pain & Gain trailer - is it & or and? - is a Red Band but really, I don't see much in here that would be causing me concern. Still, if you're American be warned, this is marked as Red Band by the MPAA.

The more important thing is that it looks really good, apart from one thing that bugs me about it, the rest looks like it carries a superb style and that Dwayne Johnson is going to be rocking it.

Michael Bay's new film Pain & Gain does look like it's going to be a lot of fun and Mark Wahlberg looks like he's going to be on form too although I suspect that Dwayne Johnson is going to eclipse him in more ways than one.

In a way I'm thinking that the trailer has shades of Ruthless People, but that's not a negative comparison by any means. This does carry its own style and there's a lot more to it.

Although there is a little kink in how good everything looks and that's the straight comedic character that we see in the nurse, deadpan fat people are funny.

Here's the blurb for Pain & Gain:

From acclaimed director Michael Bay comes Pain & Gain, a new action comedy starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in a criminal enterprise that goes horribly wrong. Ed Harris, Tony Shalhoub, Rob Corddry, Rebel Wilson and Bar Paly also star. The film is based on magazine articles by Pete Collins, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and produced by Donald DeLine, Michael Bay and Ian Bryce.

Now here's the trailer through TrailerAddict for Pain & Gain:

Is Michael Bay back from robot hell with a bang?
